Bonnie Perry is the owner of " Woolies In The Country", an artsy, farm based business located south of Owen Sound. At Woolies we have a "live off the land" approach to life, growing/raising most of what we eat as well as the wool, herbs, fruit, and veggies used in our Woolies products. This helps to ensure a natural and healthy product.
From our far, pets, Romney sheep and Angora goats, hand painted specialty yarns are created focusing on sock, lopi, brushed, and boucle yarns. These hand painted yarns are sold individually or made into knitted cowls and shawls. Hand dyed roving is sold in a rainbow of colours and is also used to create needle felted works of art. From wall hanging to 3D animals, whimsical creatures, jewelry, and bags, it all comes to life with a lot of time, a little dye roving, a felting needle, and a dash of imagination.
Over 20 varieties of herbal soaps hand crafted in small batches are produced using four quality oils (olive, coconut, almond, and grapeseed) plus pure essential oils, herd, fruit, veggies, and goat milk produced on the Woolies farm. Artisan felted soap offers a unique bathing experience. woolies soap with our wool wrapper felted in place provide exfoliating and massaging benefits while also providing colour and aromatherapy.
Woolies is proud to use only 100% pure, local beeswax in all of our candles. A wide variety is made from the regular tapers, votives, and tea light to the unique pillars and hand painted cinnamon candles.
A complete line of healthy skin care products with a focus on bath time and great teas round out our product base.
