Although Jill lives most of the year in St. Catharines, in the shadow of the beautiful Niagara Escarpment, she is happiest when she is at the cottage in Sauble Beach.
For over thirty years, Jill and her family have vacationed at Sauble and it is here that she finds constant and abundant inspiration for her paintings.
After teaching for 32 years, she is now retired and painting more than ever. Time has allowed her to wander around the Bruce Peninsula with sketchbook and camera in hand, capturing the beauty and soul of the area.
Whether painting the shores and dunes at Sauble Beach, the conservation areas of Niagara or the rugged trails up at Tobermory, she hopes that her paintings reflect the love and respect she holds for the land.
Known primarily for her luminous watercolours, Jill’s paintings and murals hang in many private and corporate collections both here and in Great Britain.
